Lisa McCorkle is a Section Chief in the Transportation Construction Branch in the Department of Public Works and Environmental Services. She administers construction contracts, manages the construction of transportation improvements and leads a group of construction engineers.
After graduating from George Washington University with a Bachelor's of Science in Civil Engineering, she worked for 12 years in private industry as a design consultant. She is a Professional Engineer and a Certified Construction Manager with 25 years of experience. She has worked in design and construction of capital improvement projects for Fairfax County since 2005.
A resident of Fairfax County and a native of Northern Virginia, she enjoys bike riding, Pilates and yoga. She came to work for Fairfax County to contribute to her community and believes everyone’s voice deserves to be heard and fairly represented. As the EAC representative she will advocate for a safe workplace free from discrimination and bullying.
