Mohammed M. Najeeb - Capital Facilities

"My Name is Mohammed Najeeb, I have been a Fairfax County employee for seven years. I currently work as Branch Chief in the Land Acquisition Division in CAP-DPWES. I am interested in serving on the EAC. I understand the role of the council in advocating for a better workplace. We can always improve on communication, employee wellness programs. I'm committed to work with EAC members, employees and County leadership to achieve common goals. My experience has equipped me with the skills to listen effectively to employee concerns and to effectively communicate those concerns to ensure that all voices are heard."

Tajera L. DeSena - Capital Facilities

With over 24 years of experience in public service, land acquisition, and project leadership, I bring a deep understanding of county operations and employee needs. I've led diverse teams, championed training and mentorship, and advocated for fairness, inclusion, and growth. As a LEO Program participant, multi-time Champion Award recipient, and active member of professional associations, I'm committed to listening, representing your voice, and driving positive change. I would be honored to serve on the Employees Advisory Council to help foster transparency, equity, and opportunity for all Fairfax County employees.

Scott Meyer - Land Development Services

I have had the honor and privilege of serving as the Group 3 representative to the Employees Advisory Council for the past nearly 4 years. During that time, I served as the chair of the Don Smith Awards Committee each year and have served as the Treasurer of the EAC for the past 3 years. I have learned a lot working across agencies to help and support my fellow County staff. I have spearheaded efforts to help improve employee morale through the difficult times with COVID. During this time, EAC has sponsored the Captain Cookie and the Milkman food truck (fresh baked cookies and ice creams) and Scoops2U food truck (ice cream sundaes) at PSTOC, Herrity Building, North County Government Center, South County Government Center, James Lee Community Center, Lorton Bus Garage, Noman Cole Wastewater Treatment Plant, Government Center (for a Library Department all-staff event), CSB at the Bulova Building and Health Department at Kelly Square.

As your rep, I want to keep providing support to my Group, in specific, and to all staff, in general. Group funds have purchased small appliances, such coffee makers and microwaves, for each of the 3 agencies in Group 3, in addition to providing financial assistance to agency team building and recognition events.Given the opportunity to serve again, I will continue to support the agencies of Group 3 and advocate on their behalf.
