I am Kamala Williams, the Group 6 EAC representative. I am a Social Worker with the Department of Family Services, bringing over 20 years of extensive experience in human services. My background encompasses various areas including Child Protective Services, Adult Protective Services, homeless services, special education, case management, and advocacy.
 

Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to serving diverse and vulnerable populations, ensuring that their voices are heard and their needs are addressed with both compassion and fairness. I firmly believe in this council’s mission to foster collaboration and enhance employee
well-being across Fairfax County.

 

My professional journey has equipped me to act as an effective liaison between employees and leadership, promoting open communication and mutual respect while inviting meaningful input into county policies and practices. I am committed to working collaboratively, rather than instructively, to cultivate a supportive and inclusive work environment.

 

With a strong track record in advocacy and relationship-building, I offer a balanced perspective that reflects the needs of employees that aligns with the Council’s mission of building harmonious and productive relations throughout the County.
