Nominations for
the 2026 Don Smith Awards

The Don Smith Award, presented by the Employee Advisory Council (EAC), recognizes individual employees of Fairfax County who have contributed in an outstanding manner to the well-being of their fellow employees. Recipients receive an engraved plaque and a cash award of up to $1,000.
Established by the EAC in 1991, this award commemorates Donald D. Smith for his 16 years of service, marked by insight and growth, as an EAC Representative.

The ceremony will take place during the Board of Supervisors meeting on Tuesday, February 2, 2027.
